The NMPA, HFA, and Spotify are working out the marbles on exactly how to distribute royalties from their settlement and moving forward.
Meanwhile, folks are scratching their heads’ to figure out just which songs might have their copyrights associated.
Exploration does not currently collect royalties from Spotify, but we feel it is materially valuable for a publisher to know which titles on Spotify have their compositions embedded in them, so we built the functionality. It is currently operational.
