Meet Jacob

Jacob Wunderlich chose music as a career trajectory when he saw Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band perform live at Madison Square Garden. He graduated from Belmont University in 2018 with a degree in Music Business Administration.

Jacob is a co-author of the book: “How the Music Business Works,” a collection of guides published and updated regularly to reflect changes in copyright law and industry practice. He also published 2020’s “Music Industry Report”“Music Industry Report” alongside the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.

Jacob now oversees business development efforts at Exploration, a media & technology company helping songwriters, recording artists, filmmakers, music publishers, and record labels control their metadata and collect more royalties from digital platforms.

Jacob is a classically-trained pianist who plays in a rock n’ roll band and lives in New York City. He reads a lot, wants to join the Peace Corps, and loves his cat.
