BMI Distribution Schedule

BMI is changing its distribution schedule to better serve their writers, composers and publishers. In order to shift to this new schedule, 2021 will be a transition year where BMI makes five distributions, rather than four.

Ultimately, BMI's schedule will remain the same, with the addition of their distribution of 2Q2021 performances in November of 2021, rather than January of 2022.

For now, BMI wanted to provide as many of their members with this information since everyone is continuously working on budgets, forecasts, and overall business operations during the ongoing pandemic.

BMI hopes this exciting distribution change will help mitigate some of the COVID impacts, and on a longer-term basis, they're excited to move to a schedule that will be more helpful to everyone.
