Meet Aaron

Aaron Davis

Aaron Loring Davis is the CEO and Co-Founder of Exploration Group, LLC, a media management and technology company headquartered in Los Angeles.

He is primarily responsible for strategic direction, business development, and software development. Exploration is proud to be the company of choice to compile and administer the metadata identifying much of the world’s most important media.

Aaron has been a speaker and writer at events and publications produced by Billboard, National Association of Recording Industry Professionals (NARIP), the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), SESAC, MIT Media Lab, and others. He is a member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), the California Copyright Conference (CCC), and the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).

Aaron earned a degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is a self-taught computer scientist. Aaron is a regular contributor to the Sierra Club, Girl Scouts of America, and multiple charities that support youth literacy and education. He enjoyed an international rugby career, finds sailing to be magical, and loves his dog.
